I saw this player and I don't know too much of him. Can you tell me why is he prayed for? Is he a good player? As good as Saviola...I know he's strong at the ball but has he skills or speed?

I can't make comparisons becos they're physically different but he has skillz (that's a given, he's Brazllian!), speed and intelligence.

I do feel that he will be a major force for Brazil in the near future!! He's already won a U-17 WC for Brazil and I know he's in a good position to win the "Big" WC for Brazil. With Kaka, Ewerthon, Fabio Rochemback, Geovanni, Robert, Alex, Lucio, Polga, Kleberson and many other good young talent. His chances are GOOD!!!

He played against Manchester United today and did not look good (like Parma themselves!). I would have put him Os 23 in front of Luizao for the Copa. A bit raw and very left sided but a good prospect.

Is Saviola better than Adriano?

Today, yes. Not very close at all. Adriano, IMO, made a unwise move in leaving for Europe so fast. His development actually stunted. I think now that he is getting regular time he will develop into the player that many saw in the youth tournaments. But as of today, Saviola has a more complete game. Adriano would have benefitted in Milan had Ronaldo been healthy but instead, he lavished in reserve matches before being sent off on loan deals.

Nothing is certain in futebol but Adriano must be a good bet re 2006.

Kaka (sao Paulo)
Diego (Santos)
Robinho (Santos)
Adriano (some club in Italy)
Rochembach (Barca)

Diego will be the next soccer god.
Only Diego will be better than Robinho.
They are both 17 years old.

It shows your knowledge of players but then again what can one expect from a Cruz Azul fan.

Adriano has skills.

Stuck with crappy, bankrupt Fiorentina
last year, he did extremely well. Remember-
team morale was bad, and he PLAYS IN ITALY.
It's not easy to score there.

As to Adrano v. Saviola, Saviola is way ahead
right now (and I hate Argentina). Saviola's
technique is not only ahead of Adriano, but every other young player in the world today. He's really
smooth and its hard to get the ball off him.

Adriano left for Europe too early, but he is fulfilling his massive potential (already played for Brazil),
but give him 2-3 years and he'll really be good.
