Rocket Sports in King of Prussia. NextTurf fields. Indoor and Outdoor. About 30 minutes from Center City with good traffic, about an hour with bad traffic.

Men's 7v7 on Tuesday nights on half fields. They play from 6-8:45PM. Games are 40 mins. No slide tackles.

Sunday is 11v11, 90 minutes with no slide tackles. Games from 8:45 in the morning.

It is a good league with moderate to good players. One really dominant team that are hard to beat. Check the website and you can sign up for teams that are short on players. I know that Main Line Health needs players because the struggle to get 11 out on Sundays.

By the way, welcome to Philly!!! It's a good time to be here, now we just need to get an MLS team!

Do you play at Rocket Sports? I used to play there and some of my friends still do (on either Tuesday's or Thursdays). I know the team they are on needs players, I was thinking about rejoining.

In addition to Rocket Sports, there is the Philly Sport and Social Club:

http://www.phillysportandsocialclub.com/

They play outdoor co-ed seven on seven in Fairmount Park, and co-ed indoor at the Gold's Gym in King of Prussian. I've played in that league as well as Rocket Sports, and the Philly Sport and Social Club leagues are definitely not as competitive as the Rocket Sports leagues -- so if you're looking for real low-key, all-in-good-fun, rec-league soccer, go with the Philly Sport and Social Club. If you want something more competitive, faster, more physical, and more skilled, go to Rocket Sports.

Eddie, what's the Horsham Football Club?

Only the best team in the world. I was playing around online (I'm from Horsham, PA) and found Horsham FC, south of London. It's a small Ryman League team with a nice little stadium. Fan attendance for games is around a couple hundred. I've been posting on their messageboard and wanted to buy a jersey. Well they are sending me 2 for free plus a scarf. They want me to keep one jersey for myself and try to use the other as a "sample" get other Horsham residents to buy it. I told them it was unlikely but they said to give it a shot. Supporters club is some good guys too. I'm defintely going there on my next trip across the Atlantic.

Hey, I'm also new this fall to Philly - studying at Penn.

Right now, I'm playing some loow key pick-up in Fairmount. I'll look for an outdoor league in the spring.

But for winter, is there anyone playing futsal, like at some elementary school basketball court?

Nice. But they are only in Div. 1! ;)
