Personally, I'll take 2-0 wins anytime.
Punctuation and capitalization are not the enemy, Paul.

I gave up reading that after the first line. Paragraphs would be nice

And Mike Segroves is a polite and caring individual that gets along with everyone, all while being Brian McBride's biggest fan
Mike Segroves: Tender soul; Husker fan.

You forgot, "Platinium Level Donor to the UT Athletics Department"
You bastard, not hooking me up with Texas-OU tickets.

The article is entitled "U.S. Lacks Recognizable Style." Title should be "Gardner Lacks Recognizable Style." This ********** is unreadable.

OU/TX Tickets require a Nutronium Level Donorship
I just found out how much money you gotta give to the Longhorn Foundation each year to get Texas-OU tickets on the 50:
$100,000

A sentence is the expression of a complete thought. No wonder there were no sentences in that article.

The fans deserve better writers than Paul Gardner.

Paul Gardner, you say?
Allow me to sum up the basic premise of EVERY article the man has written over the last 25 years in six words:
"If it isn't Latin, it's crap..."
There. Now you never have to read another one of his articles again... :)

I think what ESPN fails to realize is that even if the message might have some legitimacy, the messengers' credibility is already shot. They can keep giving these crap writers screen time in the name of controversy.
But it's your job - soccerfans - to make sure they don't get the links to keep them in bidness.

Paul, buddy, we get the point. No need to try to be all cool and hip here, you're a sportswriter.

Crap. I thought it said "Garber says fans are entitled to see better."
Now that would be interesting reading.

Ah, Gardner with a stylistic nod toward Louis-Ferdinand Celine's novel "Death on the Installment Plan" (Mort a Credit).
Only similarity I can find is that the main character of Celine's novel is an abortionist and this article by Gardner is his standard abortion.

This is so correct it's not funny. Paul Gardner is the main reason that I didn't renew my subscription to Soccer America. On the editorial page, someone summarized his thoughts more or less this way:
BAD:
MLS
Goalkeepers
Coaches
College Soccer
European Soccer
American Soccer
Youth Soccer
Bradenton
Anything else soccer related that you can imagine
GOOD:
Latins
The dude is a good example of how someone can hold onto a job writing about soccer because no one is around to challenge him for it. I don't think anyone really listens to what he has to say.

i guess you have to be a flashy attacking team to have a style, our style id like to think is disruption, we disrupt the other teams style and do what we please, i think it makes us hard to prepare for. and i personally love watching their hard work on defense and they can get pretty creative to. so i dont know that he has ever watched a us game.
