He also looked great against Rennes.

Here's an article from Eurosport.

Franck is knocking on the NT door. will Raymond let him in?

Why has Domenech left Giuly out? He'll play the Champions League final Wednesday and that's not good enough? Que se passera-t-il si Giuly marque deux ou trois buts mercredi?

I think it was always Ribery OR Giuly, not both. And with all the pressure to call up Ribery it was an obvious choice. Vikash is a fall-back if anything happens to Zidane.

Yup, since Pires and Micoud were 'Game Over' from the start. The problem is Vikash has virtually no physical impact, but he can be interesting nevertheless...By providing nice free kicks ! :D

Here is how this should work :

i was suprised to see kapo and mexes left out. i s saha going to be used as a wingeR? i feel that 6 middies might be a little on the light side.

There's a pretty touching video of Ribery and his family watching the team selection on TV and their reaction to him getting picked. I found it on the eurosport france site.

This is the URL:

anyway, if it's shown at cannes it will probably get a pretty wide distribution; as for english version there's no need as there's no dialogue at all.

Its actually been very higly regarded. particularly by zizou himself who says its great, and he never bigs himself up so to speak.
i really want to see it, but i cant help but think that 90mins with no dialogue will just be simply like watching a match on skysports player cam?
seems strange to me, i take it nobody has seen it?

No releases date for anywhere else but France and the UAE (believe or not.)

I suppose you could always write to UIP and ask if they plans to distribute the film outside of the country to a wider audience.

Specialist cinema's in the UK may be showing it - its a very artistic piece that doesn't fail into the normal catergory of cinema viewing. Failing that, you could always go to France and see it. :)
