Yeah, it was a great place. I could have spent A LOT of money in there on used CD's alone!

Last week when I was in SF, I found a great record shop on Haight, Amoeba Music, and it had a great used CD selection. I got all of these for about $25.

(It was only $1.99, so why not?)

Ayone a fan of the 80's classic Valley Girl? Picked up the Plimsouls Everywhere at Once CD the other day. Good stuff.

Back from giving my presentation......went well. I am sure that you all will be shocked but I get nerous speaking in public....... :p
:) Way to go, Red! :)
That's kind of become my forte since taking this job. If I could find a way to do just that for a living, er, a better living, then I'd probably do it in a heartbeat. Stats and analyses are fun, but my strength appears to lie in explaining said material to others.

You sure AJ wasn't trying to do the Hand Jive? :p

GG-we may have run into each other at some shows and not even known it! Spend much time at the Masquerade in the late 90's?Less so in the late 90's. Early to mid 90's, seemingly once a week. Would play billiards before shows and practice my refined white-boy dancing skills under proper rave conditions. :D Was a popular haunt for those of us @ North Ave. Trade. ;)
As for the Turkish prison inquiry, I'll plead the fifth! :p

Red, What was the bar that used to be on Peachtree Street immediately north of the I-85 bridge? Used to be next to an Arby's but both have since been wiped clean for a modernized mixed use project. Can't recall the seemingly simple name!
Anyway, they had great, and cheap, Long Islands so that's where I spent the better half of my nights.
