Then you would miss out on all the really cool stuff about being a parent to Bready-things that are near and dear to you-shaping musical preferances, etc. My son can already tell you his favorite Dead song and sing REM lyrics. He loves the Arsenal and can name off my favorite players. Loves the Georgia Bulldogs, etc. But the best thing is when out of the blue he comes running up to you and says I just want to give you a hug and a kiss! So sweet!
Also after hearing GG's story-am glad I have a boy! :D
That does sound awesome. I used to be in a hurry to get married and have kids (my mom had 4 by the time she was 27) but now since I am here in NYC, I think I could hold off for a lil bit.

Speaking of college ball, the spread for the UT-Tech game has the Tea-sips over Texas Tech by 15.5. That seems a bit high IMO. That is going to be a good game. I'm sure it will be on the tube at my buddy's ranch for the big dove hunt. Nothing like beer, college ball, and shotguns!!!!
doves?

Also after hearing GG's story-am glad I have a boy! :DIt amazes me that this happens. This day and age, this civilization, etc. I don't get it. They can pilot the web and all sorts of electronic gizmos but fail to understand life's basic cause-and-effect situations? I don't want to be that father that needs to hold a machete while answersing the door for my daughter's date, but if need be...

pig....so beautiful...my personal fav is the pig from 95 when they opened for the dead
Except it wasn't Pig then. I always liked Spoon from BTCS. Very underrated, it's the one with Alanis Morrisette on backup.
By far my favorite live show is 5-10-95 from Yoshi's in SF. It's superb. It's got a full #40 on it and the entire show, Carter plays bongo's instead of drums. Ahh, the days when DMB experimented with things other than crap music.
Is there anything better than D&T doing Cry Freedom?
Their new CD, Stand Up, I think is one of the worst albums I've ever heard. Where as I consider BTCS and The Lillywhite Sessions are two of the best. The Lillywhite Sessions, the leaked one, before they fine tuned it is amazing. The raw sound really works I thought, of course the band disagreed.
I attribute DMB's downfall to cutting free from Lillywhite (who did U2's Joshua Tree at well) and going with Glen Ballard. I consider Everyday a Dave solo album.

I know...it was 'Don't Burn the Pig'...c'mon eddie, I'm no rook  ;)
I would still have to say my phav is 12.31.96 or 1.26.95 w/trey. other shows I listened to over and over were 12.31.94 from Richmond...94 Ga Theater show....Dave solo at the Deke House....and others from 93 I can't remember the dates of.
I agree on spoon....glad I saw that dave and tim style but with Alanis that would be sick.
edit: dave and tim - 'romance, puppy love, and boogers.'

Dogs are mostly used to point them out and retrieve, especially from the water. Quail is a bit similar to cornish game hens you can get at the supermarket.

Gotta love Claypool. Last saw Primus at a Lollapalooza yeeeeeaaaars ago, but I remember it pretty well. Alice in Chains "headlined," but a lot of us left the main stage area after Primus, whom even Mrs. GG appreciates!
Dan, first pitch tomorrow night or Saturday?

Dan, do you want to make a friendly wager on the series? Maybe an avatar switch or a "Trading Places" bet of $1. :D
