I dunno... unlike HT, they will theoretically have a marginally appropriate lineup, so they might be a non-trivial challenge if they got a good player draw.
If these matches are any indication, it looks like the bots are total pushovers.

I plan to GFI my first league match. Here's why:

1) It's my main rival for the title. As I've said before, if I don't win these matches, I probably won't promote. I've got to hold serve at my place.

2) There's virtually no repercussions. I don't care about the cup, so if I happen to draw a user-controlled team next Sunday and lose, it won't hurt me. Also, my next league match is against a bot, with the two after that coming against the worst teams in the series.

324-92.

10 wickets in 27.5 overs, that was fun.

111-110. I got my 10 wickets in 34.4 overs and scored my 111 runs in 12.3 without either of my 2 batsmen who batted getting out.

i think all the bot teams were set to abysmal form. so if the form picks up it might start to get a little more competitive

sweet...

I restricted them to 210 and then made 211 in 26 overs losing just 1 wicket in the process...

I'm also the proud new owner of a Strong Youth Academy, I had 3 comp or better pulls but I pulled a wk and only got a feeble... not sure what I should pull next... training in 5mins... I'm hoping for 2 pops so I can sell off one guy and bench another.

I dropped a serious beat down on a Bot while TIE. Dropped 319 on him and he only managed 134 before I got to 10 wickets.

Any idea when the second round draw will be?

Also, I am assuming when previously ownerless teams get new owners everything resets? Trying to decide how to approach my week 1 match against a guy who just got his team.

matches against new owner controlled teams shouldn't be too hard. He'll probably mess with his lineup and screw something up. I know I did!

some of the cup games haven't technically finished in the system yet, which is why the 2nd round draw is held up.

kopite, that all-rounder is just burnin a hole in my 425,000 bank account right now. hmmmm

Go for it, I'll send rep your way for a bid :D

Does bribery work? I just got a $175,000 bid, nice. I'll be in the black at last.

Hard to lose him, but no choice really.

Could you post how much he ends up going for when he sells? I've got a very similar player i'll be selling when he hits strong batting.

Yeh, I will let you know. Like I said he has a $175,000 bid right now (or is it pounds??) LOL.

But I just listed him today. I have no idea what he will go for to be honest.

damn. hopefully some of my trainees pan out and i can sell some of the players i ahve right now that are getting older, like 22+

kinda odd that in battrick they don't train past 21 but in real cricket i thought players peaked in their late 20s!

They actually don't train? Or is it just very slow and not worth it?

I'm pretty sure it's the latter.

My youth pull is up to about 75k, with two days left. This will be very nice, as it will help me get some breathing room in my bank account.
