I'm following winningconnection's match -- he is in serious trouble.

Chasing 222, he is 142-6, ouch.

154-6, down to the bowlers to hand out wickets like candy. Boy, was this a wake-up call. 316-2, they got, and we only got the second wicket on ball 49.6.

I'll blame the two questionable lbws on my best batsmen, and not my bowlers, whose "superb" form was a cruel, cruel joke.

yeah... this guy has good some good bowlers... I'm abit saddened by the fact that I've 1 less batsman than usual as my 2nd allrounder is in really bad form... had I played him I'd be more comfortable...

I still think the match is winnable... both guys out there right now are capable of scoring 50s. Today would be a great time for Elding to beat his career best of 48.

of course... as I type... Elding gets dismissed... that's it... pretty much over from here out... there's slight slight hope, but not too much.

and its just about over now... ugh... I'm gutted... really no reason to lose this match... poor poor performance and I think I'm going to pull a batsman this week as a result of this debacle - I figured w/ no injuries u'd not need depth in battrick but form can be a muthafusacther some times.

Those 4 wickets by Hutchison have been a killer

Apparently, my bowlers are having trouble with the whole concept of wickets. At 226-1 after 42 overs, it will take a miracle to hold on for the win here. I dunno if I should just blame the weather, or if it might be worth considering a change in pitch -- contrary to my expectations, my impression is that I've had better results from my seam bowlers on a green pitch than on a cracked pitch.

This match will break a run of eight competition matches where the opposing side was bowled out by Norse.

Will need over a hundred runs in the next 6 overs to win.

a good 101 run win for me!! got the league campaign started on the right foot. I played GFI, but i lost two competant bastmen to ducks within the space of 6 balls, so I know I can do better.

i score more runs on a slow pitch then i do on any other type i've played on (but i haven't played on all types)

Slow pitches are supposed to favor spinners. I've got four seamers (one fast and the other three FM or medium) in my lineup, so I'd like a pitch that favors them. I went to cracked, figuring I'd get more mileage out of a pitch you had to work at than the default, but now I'm wondering.

I went to a hard one for this match. Currently losing and trying to catch up...
Not much of a chance...

yup...

sucks... ended up losing by 20 runs... I think I've lost 5 games in battrick thus far and I'd wager the total amount of runs I've lost by is less than 65runs... I never get blownout but I lose some tough matches to lose...
