I won to go top of the league

And since there are only 4 leagues in II, i'm taking that to mean i'm in the top 4 teams in the country ;) And since England in the biggest country i'm obviously one of the top 4 teams in the world :D

No wickets yet... but I've pegged them back a bit and I'm due for a wicket as one guy has faced 77 balls already.

End of Over 30: 137-3, runrate=4.57

What is the match ID - much rather watch that than do any work :D

I'm batting: End of Over 35: 214-3, runrate=6.11. Looks ok but could have been significantly better, my first batter (respectable averaged 42 runs last season) got out in the first over without scoring.

Got them even further pegged back... this is getting ugly :D They don't stand a chance if they don't get more than 275 (although I'm saying this and just realized they bowl out quite a few teams for under 200  )

End of Over 39: 170-4, runrate=4.36

Run rate is edging up on you there

Talk about an active over... a hattrick and 7 runs

not bad from a guy I just pulled :D

End of Over 42: 195-7, runrate=4.64
Coutts 9-0-45-3
Gayle* 1 (1 balls)
Clee 19 (15 balls)

Last Wicket: Thatcher c. Love b. Coutts 0 (FOW: 192/7)

41.6 2 Coutts to Clee
a risky two, but they make it.
41.5 1 Coutts to Gayle
Played out to extra cover, for a single.
41.4 W Coutts to Thatcher
picked up straight to Love at mid on, wanted to go for the boundary, mistimed
41.3 W Coutts to Hutchison
Got 'im, gone!
41.2 W Coutts to Wilkes
nipped back, went for the pull, fine edge as Staunton and Coutts appeals like one man, the Umpire sending him back to the changerooms
41.1 4 Coutts to Wilkes
beautifully guided to the third man boundary for four

I'm whipping Rovers Town - they've got a miserable 267-1 in over 45. I've got them right where I want them. Sweet Jesus, I'm getting waxed.

well... if you've got good batsmen and they don't have Malcom Marshall, Dennis Lille, Shoab Ahktar and Mualitharan you could make out well. While they've only lost 1 wicket they might not get more than 310 which is gettable. I hate it when my team bats first and scores less than 315 w/ like 2-3 wickets down... in real cricket when you've got wickets in hand late in the innings the batsmen really go for it.

Damn - those were possibly the quickest ten wickets I have ever seen picked up. You were rolling there at the end.

Bowled them out and I think for the first time ever I've bowled a side out w/ out one guy taking 4wickets. I used to be hugely dependent upon 1 bowler at first and then more recently 2. But now I've got 3 guys who can get wickets and 1 guy who won't ever concede more than 45runs in his 10 overs...

Here are the figures for my bowlers...

Elding----------9-1-48-2 Use to be my only threat, expensive, but takes wkts
Love -------9-0-36-3 2nd Ace in the hole, only played 5matches or so, but good
Coutts ------10-0-52-3 New guy... didn't take him long to get a hattrick :D
Dushantha 10-0-30-1 Mr. dependable, always consistent.
Chambers 10-1-46-1 usually crappy. I'd take that every game if I could.

yeah... and now 1 ball into my innings and I lose a batsman!!!

Damnit... The target is gettable, but I don't want to find out if my skilled but untested lowerorder batsmen are good.

I was feeling OK about my target of 246-7, a little disappointed because the run rate was around 5.3 for a while, but I figured it would hold up. However, my bowlers haven't been getting the job done, it's 105-1 after 20 overs and I'm not liking where this one is headed.

runrate=4.60, reqrunrate=6.00

Halfway through the match. We need to step it up a notch if we want the win.

28.5 6 Wick to Alves
smacked the ball into the head of a small child who had to be taken to hospital!

LOL.

well my first innings is a record for the ground I'm at. He is going to have to hit a record chase to beat me.

right now they are two runs under the run rate

This is turning into a train wreck for the bowlers. We're at 166-1 after 30 overs, and nobody is performing up to their usual standards. My guys who usually produce a good economy are giving up runs in bunches, and my guys who usually make up for their so-so economy with wickets are still giving up a crap economy but without the wickets to make up for it. :(
