Rangers need a bit of improvement since their showing with DUFC. They host Artmedia on Wed, 19 Oct 2005
I see Rangers getting a 1-0 win. It won't be wonderful, but they will find a way to win.

If Artmedia play the way they did at Parkhead Rangers should have no problems, even with the form they're on.
However, Artmedia seem to have alot of luck this season in the CL, so you really never know.
If Rangers don't win McLeish will be under heavy pressure from the Rangers support.

I agree....McLeish could get the chop if Gers suck it up and get bounced from the CL in the 1st round.

I'd certainly take it! :) We seemed to raise our game, in some respects anyway, against Porto. Let's hope we can do it again.

0-0. Rangers are looking horrible, no way around it. I would like to see them do better, but unless something drastic changes Rangers will have more time to concentrate on their domestic efforts. at least thats the spin Eck will try before he is sacked.

Yup, third game is normally where it goes badly wrong.
2000/01 -- Beat Sturm Graz easily at the Brox, win away at Monaco, 6 points from a possible 6, still fail to make the second group stage.
2003/04 -- Beat Stuttgart at home, respectable draw (could easily have won) in Greece vs Panathinaikos, end result -- didn't even make the UEFA Cup.
2004/05 -- Beat those Polish duds and Grazer AK, then lost to both AZ and Auxerre and failed to do enough to progress from the UEFA Cup group.
A loss on Wednesday night would be totally unacceptable. A draw and a poor performance would also be galling. The Sword of Damocles should be over McLeish's head just now, and it might just drop if we don't take maximum points from a team whom Celtic gubbed 4-0 at home.

Damocles? I've never heard David Murray called that before. ;)

If Artmedia play the way at celtic park rangers should have no problem.
But if they play the way that they did against porto, it should be a thrilling game.
but who knows

Well for the good of Scottish football lets hope we win! I’m sure the likes of Teso and Gordon will be right behind us!

I'm in a win-win situation when the OF play in Euorpe. If they win, it does Scotland's coefficients good, if they lose, I'm pleased too.:)

McLeish consulting with GS we will see if he has learned anything.

Any on-line audio for this game? Video is no good for me, as my computer will explode for the effort of trying to run a video. :(

That Artmedia defence doesn't look too bright. Surely they can't hold out for another 45 minutes. :(

We couldn't score in a brothel at the moment. Ferguson and Prso seem to be the only ones trying to make something happen up front.

With Porto winning theres a very good chance we won't even make the UEFA Cup. In fact i'm going to predict it right here. Sigh.
