I was going to post this into the injuries thread but........


We are no longer part of the European Elite. Right now on paper, Roma has a better team then us. Things just arent looking good for the Arsenal and now its no surprise Henry wants to jump ship before it sinks. I condemed him at first but I can see how he feels especially with Vieira's success at Juve.

But dont sweat it, these things happen. What goes up must come down. Just look at Tottemham, they were once relavant but things just started to go downhill.

And please dont give me any BS about all our problems going away once the new stadium is finished. Stadium or not we arent linked with anyone special. It will most likely be another dissapointing transfer window in January and again next summer.

Honetly, Im not even that pissed about how the season is going. It was enevitable that Chelsea would eventually use their financial power to become unstoppable. But the thing that really annoyed me is that we got rid of both Vieira and Edu and didnt replace them with anyone.

I knew something like this was going to happen, and im surprised Wenger didnt think ahead. Sometimes it feels like Wenger doesent want to win anything this season. Its like he gave up before the season started. To the press he doing more bitching about Chelsea's spending then talking about how we are suppposed to be successful. However, I still have a lot of respect for wenger, a revolutionary manager. And I have to give him credit for trying to get Baptista and I honestly dont think we ever had a shot at landing Robinho.
Damn Im pissed about other stuff too. :mad:

Its not about being spoilt. Any team who enjoys success expects it all the time, its natural. What are we supposed to just live the past and be happy were not fighting relagation or fighting for a european place? If thats the case i might as well not even post. Its not that the fans start supporting other teams or stop watching them on tv..its just that they stop caring to some extent. Common..If someone who loved arsenal as much as me was supporting a team like Leeds, they would most likely be diagnosed with depression. If you wear your heart on your sleeve you can only take so much bad whether. ( dont even know if that made sence)

And im not even pissed about how the season is going..Im just pissed about hardly buying any players this summer eventhough we lost two. Im also pissed I got cockblocked today.

And yes, the lows make the highs that much sweeter. And if it wasnt for the sour the sweet wouldnt be as sweet, and I know that without evil there would be no good and, I know darkness is simply the absence of light. But honestly..If we win the CL 20 years from now I dont think Ill be anymore happy then I would be if We won it this season.

I hate annoying manc fans who only moan about and berate their team even though they dominated the domestic game for a decade. I will never be like that.

P.S. the smaller team forums are dead on here because this is a predominately American site. Why would that many Americans chose to support average teams? We didn't. You'll find active forums for all those clubs elsewhere on the web.

Do you think I just made this up? That for some reason, I just came to the conclusion. I've heard several stories from people on this board both English. Ie Richard L who supports redding, and Prenn who supports Bolton wanderers. And its like that in all sports. I dont mean "stop caring"..I mean getting less pissed when your team loses as you start to expect it. And the decline of your emotional investment in the club.
