As the Road to Germany (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=6414324#post6414324) is wrapping up, I'm looking to start a game on Euro '08 qualification.
the goal is so easy (or it seems). Pick some nations and get points while they try to qualify for the '08 tournament. Best total wins.
I need 9 more braves souls to join in (serious members only, I don't want anyone quitting after the 3rd round because they think their team stinks…) on a game we'll only know the winner in 2 years (a nice exercise for patience)
Format:
10 members
2 drafts:
- one pre-draw (coming up in October if possible)
- one after the group draw
- The draft will be a snake one (1 to 10, then 10 to 1 for the next round)
- The order of selection of the first draft will be reversed for the second draft
3 pts per win, 1 for a draw & 10 bonus points for qualification
Also, a bonus 20 pts per question for all members getting these right (answers due within a week of the end of the second draft)
o Which is the nation with the lowest coefficient (as of Oct. 14th) to make it to Euro '08 (excluding Austria & Switzerland)?
o Which is the nation with the highest coefficient (as of Oct. 14th) to miss out on Euro '08 (excluding Austria & Switzerland)?
o Which player will score the most goals during all qualification process?
o Which nation will have the most red cards during the qualification process?
o Which member's team will accumulate the most points during qualifiers (excluding qualification bonuses or questions points)?
