Which do you prefer and why?

I haven’t followed either show regularly.

Most of what I saw of 24 was the second season and I was really glued to the couch. It is very rare that something makes me stop zapping for more than 3 minutes but 24 did it and much more than that. I was never so drawn into a show as I was with 24. The tension and the pace of the show are unmatched.

Watched a little bit of the first lost season. What got me interested was the step-brother-step-sister relationship.

Now I’ve watched a couple of the second season episodes, but haven’t seen the brother… is he still alive?

Perhaps there should be an (r) in the title moderators?

the stepbrother (Boon) is dead. He died of injuries sustained just before the season finale

They're really very different shows. 24 is a lot closer to Prison Break, IMO. Lost is sort of its own thing, but maybe closer to Twin Peaks or The X-Files, or The Prisoner from back in the day.
