from www.mcfc.co.uk news:

Several City stars saw varying levels of involvement in this weekend's round of international matches.

Richard Dunne played in the Republic of Ireland's win over Cyprus in Nicosia, a result that still sees them as in with a chance of qualifying for Germany, although even a win may only see them through to the play-offs in second place. Former City striker Stephen Elliott scored the only goal of the game.

Willo Flood, currently on loan to Coventry City, scored in Ireland's U21 fixture in Cyprus the day before the senior match, heading home the equaliser with 15 minutes to go.

On the England front, Nedum Onuoha did not feature in the U21s defeat to Austria at Elland Road, but Lee Croft made a substitute appearance in the U20s 2-2 draw with Holland at Turf Moor on Sunday night. Onuoha may yet get a chance when Peter Taylor's team take on Poland at Hillsborough on Tuesday.

Sun Jihai is with the Chinese team as they prepare to take on Germany in a friendly in Hamburg.

In that case..... "Come on China!!" :)

No luck for Dunne and the Republic of Ireland last week. At least that should mean the end of Kerr.
As for Sun Jihai and China, a 1-0 defeat in Hamburg can be seen as some achievement. Plus, the China did get a couple of good chances.
