imesh.com : does anyone use this peer-to-peer program?
a friend recomended it and i thought i would see if there are any other thoughts on this particular one; i used to use morpheus but their interface sucks.

Imesh is pretty good and is almost always faster than Kazaa. Only problem is that it doesn't have as much content, but what it does have you can get pretty fast.
Imesh does have adware but you can use ad-aware to get rid of it and imesh will still run.

I used this program 3 or 4 years ago and was really unimpressed. Napster kicked it's ass then, and Kazaa kicks it's ass now.

Imesh is full of spyware & garbage like eaccelerator & stopsign, which are a bitch to get rid of.
Use Winmx.

I usually get everything I want from Kazaa so I dunno why I'd venture into other things. Well... if I want software Kazaa is not the place to get it cause it's all virus infected, so that's what IRC is for. I wouldn't get any software from any of the peer to peer systems.
If you don't want the spyware from Kazaa, just get KazaaLite (www.kazaalite.com). I probably wouldn't use Kazaa though if it wasn't for Kazaalite.

I've read that you should get the older versions of KazaaLite and don't upgrade to version 2.0 because that is actually Kazaa w/ all the spyware. Is that true?
