I'm surely not, cause I'm from Germany.
I like the US teams (MLS and A-League) but I really dont`t understand, you are playing a whole season on a huge east ot or west table -:).
But then you make playoffs for Eastern and Western Conference.
What is the meaning of the whole East and West season????
A club like San Jose is the best overall this SEASON, and now they must play off in one or two games the whole season. I don`t understand.
If I could plan the MLS, I would make (12 clubs till yet) 2 times vs. every club home and away, straight table, first in straight table wins after all games.
And concentrate on international games.
You might say it's only the concacaf, but with that potencial what is in North America, with a strong league you can force an all American champions league.
And you must not wait till any european club plays their foreseasons game their. What is most boring cause theiy play foreseason.
Your target is to be a world champion. But with this MLS in this form you never reach it.
You must play a bigger league, and better with a min. of 18 clubs on a straight table.
-I would say for the US 20 or 22 Clubs-
Every game must played like it will be the last.
Then you get them international not back in one month. When you lose it`s over.
And that's the rule.
I don`t want to critizize only, the MLS plays a fast direct ball, I love it.
So I watch the Internet videos.
Not every game is hammer, here in Germany or Europe too.
But the MLS play fast, and they must do it international.
Employees are not the solution, professionals have more chances.
But international have more chances.
And with the att., surely the straight table double it.

Thats one of the biggest problems US soccer and the MLS are facing, all of there fans and would be fans are playing soccer when the teams want them to be watching.
But I think that mostly comes from the people in charge of the youth programs and how uneducated they are.

I assume you are responding to my earlier post about the conflict
of ODP tryouts and the MLS Cup?
I have even e-mailed the person in charge of N.TX ODP to make them aware of the conflict about a month ago. I haven't gotten a response.
I haven't broken the news to my son yet, I'm still hoping they change the time. Not looking like they will though.
In my opinion, youth programs and our pro leagues need to work more together, for example have youth clubs sell MLS tickets as fund raisers
to reduce the high select costs.

If we get Metros in the PLAYOFFS!!!! (not FINAL as most of you posters seem to think the poll is about-the title of the thread says PLAYOFF) :)then ,yes, I will attend both of the games with my husband and daughter. New Jersey is a short road trip for us and I enjoy going down there for the game and staying for the weekend. If, on the other hand, we draw KC then we only can attend the home leg down at the Razor as we hopefully will need the money for a trip to Frisco, Texas for Nov. 13th!!!!!:D.GO REVS!!!!!.:D

your a guy with ur head in the right place, if you have a kid in the youth program you most certainly should be in charge. If someone involved in soccer in dallas doesn't see the potential that having the championship game in their home city has on future players he should be fired. The country as a whole will benefit from both the local and the national representatives working together.
right now, no one makes a big enough deal out of our professional league.
p.s. go revs.

I would if they ever get around to placing a team in the Philadelphia area. I love soccer at all skill levels and there is plenty of that around. Several amatuer leagues, college and high school games.Traveling to a game just isn't that important.

Then why is your favorite team Munich?
I don't think they'll be playing in your backyard anytime soon...
You're right in between Metros and DC... It's not exactly an all day drive you know.
If MLS puts a team in Philly, but all the way across town, maybe that'll be to far to travel too...?

Scroll down and ask why Kansas City don't reach the play offs.
