In Israel they won't know the result until tomorrow night due to Yom Kippur!!

I live in New York so I'll be able to (possibly) watch the game or at least get the result but i'm not sure that I want to find out!!!

Ah soooo nerve wrecking but I guess this is when soccer is greatest - even if it doesn't always go your way....

What hurts is that the under 21 Israeli team ended 3rd place to the Swiss on goal difference!!!!!!!!!

Makes this even more important!

Trezeguet, just yesterday, started separate training from his Juve teammates.

less than 45 minutes to kickoff

i'll have to leave at HT to do work study, but i'll try to keep tabs on the score :(

the lc2 link has been reliable so far - it just plays music videos until the game starts so hopefully it'll be the same today

Hope so...Seukes you have to "work-study" ;)

No changes so far from what we knew yesterday
about the starting team. But...Guily is here and is
warming up by himself, they're saying on RMC.
Malouda's there too, seemingly not warming up yet.

Hi everybody!

Back from France last night... No TV5 here and apparently my local Irish pub didn't order the Ireland-Switzerland PPV. I'm staying here at work.

Personally, I'm not thinking about 5-0. Let's win and hope things fall our way. I'm worried enough about that first goal. Can you imagine 0-0 at HT or worse Cyprus scoring first? Let's be realistic... What we need is a win!

Allez les Bleus!

Hi bwiorly

Yeah, at this point, a "5-0" is crazy thought.
We need to win this and hope for the best on
the Eire -Swiss front, that's all there is to it.

Giuly's not in the starting 11. Not sure whether he'll be on the bench or in the stands.

Once we get our first goal, then I'll start worrying about 5-0. God I hope we get an avalanche of goals tonight.

Hey if we could score 3 against Ivory Coast why should Cyprus be a problem? We were in defensive mode against the Swiss but this should be different. Guily in at minute 75' !

but that still meaningless...What if the Swiss go
"nuts" and win 3-0? Until it's done, we won't know.

Fish did you not read what Zizou said about the Irish? They will put up a good fight. How dare you contradict our impervious leader!

Hopefully the Cypriots will have eaten too many greasy Gyro's on the way to the stadium tonight.

Of course they'll put up a fight, they don't have
a choice, neither do the Swiss, neither do we.

Wiltord opens the scoring tonight. I can feel it. He always delivers in big moments.
