Do you know by any chance where we can find a great database with all the international games since the beginning of times ?
I'm sure it exists on the internet but it's not easy to find.

http://www.fff.fr/cgi-bin/historique/hist_accueil.plThanks a lot ;)
I've found another website too :http://www.eloratings.net/
They have all A teams games in records since the beginning of History. However, the FFF one is better to find direct confrontation between France and any other country. Thanks a lot for that ! :)

Well, seems there'll be two friendlies only:
_ versus Germany on the 12th of November
_ versus Slovakia next year, March 1st
Geee...this seems like awfully not enough to get
ready for the WC.
It would seem that there's a friendly organised in Martinique against Costa Rica on the 9th (I think) of November...

That's a completely wacko idea if true...I read that too:
http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/20051017_120952_01.html
It's announced by the Costa-Rican federation, on their
website but not confirmed by the French federation.
Seeing that France is playing Germany in France
three days later, I call BS on this.
Edit: I found their website (Federación Costarricense
de Fútbol) http://www.fedefutbol.com/
(nice website too...) and the article in question:
http://www.fedefutbol.com/home.php?subaction=showfull&id=1129413354&archive=&start_from=&ucat=1&
"Las selecciones mundialistas de Costa Rica y Francia jugarán un partido amistoso de carácter benéfico, el próximo miércoles 9 de noviembre a las 15:00 horas, en la isla de Martinica, específicamente en Fort-de-France, su ciudad más importante, etc etc"
Still a crazy idea, nevertheless...

i think it's a great idea!
but not 3 days before the schpitzenhelmenfreundschaftlichballwurfspiel! ergo, probably BS like the man said.

That's what I mean: any other time, great!
But having to fly all the way to Fort-de-France,
play that game, only to fly back in a hurry and
play another one in Paris, no way.

God I hope Domenech doesn't try to save a couple of Euros and fly with some shady charter company..... :(

I think it's a brilliant idea.
Actually, I consider the French national team doesn't play enough in the overseas department, which are part of the F.F.F. A friendly between French A-Team and Costa Rica is a great idea. Especially that both teams are qualified for the World Cup.
There's only 6 hours of flight between Paris and Fort-de-France. I think it can be handled. Moreover, we're simply talking about friendlies. French players could take their flight on sunday or even on saturday night, and they would have monday, tuesday and wednesday to get fit for the game against Germany. I consider it would be worth it.
