My boss was gracious enough to let me follow the game over the Internet. A proud nation like France has to be at every major tournament -- that's absolutely crucial to our consolidating our place among Europe's top teams. Zidane has a knack of scoring when the situation really demands it. That's the mark of a true champion. My guess is, had Trezeguet and Henry been playing, we would have registered even more goals. I think I'll have some Bacardi tonight. C'est magnifique! Vive la France!!!

PS. I hope Vieira's injury isn't too serious. Juve's chances of retaining the scudetto and showing well in the Champions League rest on his form and fitness.

Yes he was. I did see him get out of the stadium
but most likely he was pissed at getting injured
and having to miss this game.
