TribalFootball (i know, i know) is reporting that Real Madrid will attempt a 20 million pound transfer for Henry in January. 20 MILLION POUNDS???? Am I missing something? I can't imagine Thierry Henry will transfer for any less than 35 million pounds. HAHAHAHAHHHHAA!!!
don't want to jinx anything but I thought a nice laugh might help today.

A year ago nobody would've imagined Paddy leaving for less than 30.
I'm much more afraid of Barca. Titi's not going to split time with Ronaldo, Raul, Robinho and Baptista, especially since they don't have a defence. However, a front 3 of Titi, Eto'o and Dinho would be very, very scary.

I wonder if that Real Sports piece on Racism is on Henry's mind. Not their story per se, but that chats in many of the pieces were at Barcalona and Madrid players. He himself said that the English game is not so bad as on the continent.

Don't really know what's so funny about this...20 mil. for someone at his age in the LAST YEAR OF HIS CONTRACT would be a very good price.

I don't see how Barca could afford him. They just signed Ronaldinho to a life contract and now Puyol. They are spending like mad, maybe a trade...who knows? Ahhh, the transfer window speculation, GOOD TIMES.

Well, they're going to raise a ton of cash by finally putting ads on the kit. (http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=314083&CPID=23&clid=&lid=&title=Chinese+take+away+Barca+deal)

I'll believe it when the papers are signed. TiTi knows where he stands with this club, I don't know why he would leave that to join a mediocre club.

You must include MUFC then, as well. They aren't exactly world beaters, right now.
In fact, the 2 most successful concerning wins right now are Bayern Munich and Chelsea.

Actually, considering Henry doesn't have much time left in his contract I think we'll be lucky if we can get around 10 million pounds for him (provided he really wants to leave). Just look at what which happened to Owen. Remember, he can leave us for free two seasons later.

Yes, that's right there in the title, but it's clearly a direction in which the club is moving.
