Cronenberg's A History of Violence

Okay, I saw this last week, and I still can't get it out of my head.

Definately one of Cronenbergs more accessable movies, but I still left the theater feeling like I'd been hit with a ton of bricks. Definately not an easy watch. Has anyone else seen it?

An impressive film subtextually but a predictable story and a pretty dull plot for a lot of the movie. Maybe that's only b/c I thought the twist was pretty obvious. Hard to grade a film which works thematically but not so well in its plotting. How do you weigh it fairly?
