Good luck to all of the Home Country teams and ROI over the weekend, except of course, for Wales (who will no doubt be determined to bring "our wee province" back down to Earth with a crash)!

Looks like NRC was pulled from the U-21 match b/c of a knock to the ankle. Yossi is playing with a cracked rib tomorrow. Required a pain killer injection. That aint good.
Again, check out KUMB for the story.

Good results for England & Wales, whether we win against Poland or not, England have qualified for Germany, what the hell happened to Scotland losing to Belarus?????!!

Collins came off against NI with a knock to his shoulder as well.

This is worse than we thought; Collins dislocated his shoulder and will be out for 4-6 weeks; Benayoun has a cracked rib (but still scored for Israel today);Reo-Coker has a bad ankle, and we don't know how bad it is;Carroll has a fractured thumb.
This is why I hate having too many of our best players in internationals. It's injuries that change the whole makeup of a winning combination. Let's hope for the best in the next few weeks.

Congratulations to England and Wales for their wins - and to England for qualifying. May you have a great WC run.

Interesting that FIFA does not yet know how they will rank the teams for the World Cup. I expect that they are waiting to see if England finish first or second to see which way they will go!!!!!

Belarus are a good team!! :o
Apparently we just cracked and played terrible. We did have some chances to nick a draw but squandered them all.
I am not sure if it is still mathematically possible for Scotland to go through but everyone in the camp has all but resigned to defeat this time round.

According to Fifa's world rankings, Belarus are 71st and Scotland are 74 so I suppose that makes them better.

Neil 'Shaka' Hislop...and the Soca warriors of my T&T!
Hislop came on for the second half after injury to Kelvin Jack vs mighty Mexicans.
In a must wing, we got through 2-1. A magical night at the Hasely Crawford stadium last night, loved every minute, screamed my lungs out and sang and danced and partied well into the night!
On to the playoff versus Bahrain, if we win Germany WC2006 is the venue!
And the dream would be realized, but lets not worry about that for this minute, sweet sweet T&T advances to play 2 games away from WC, ah the Beautiful Game!

Wish I could have been there, island living is the greatest and I hope the hang-over isn't too bad!!!!
