What is the Worthington Cup? Who enters into it? and how is it different than the FA Cup?

BTW: You will still often hear it refered to as The League Cup even though that was a name it had previously then changed but it sorta stuck..

I think its official title is still the Football League Cup.

Sponsors have the right to name it after themselves (or a product) during their sponsorship (e.g. Worthington, Rumbelows and even Milk).

That's true.. There was though, a period that it had only that name. Some from other places still get confused when someone says the league cup and then they here about the Worthington Cup and assume it's two different cups or that the football league cup is the FA cup.

Hasn't always been the greatest of cup matches but it's always fun to watch the amazing upsets that tend to come out of it sometimes....
