They may be shitty singers, but they are seriously fun to look at.

I also nominate Coldplay, who I have seen live (before they hit the big time). God their music drags.

I say this without any sarcasm - when you're really really depressed and you've already finished all the alcohol in the house and you have no will or energy to go out for more, you'll be glad you had a Coldplay CD.

I didn't like Coldplay at first but now that I've listened to them a bit more I kinda like them. What is their current single 'Clocks' I think its called that is one beautifull song.

Paul Oakenfold.
I don't get why people think he's so great. Mind you, I don't think his music's terrible, but what I've heard of him seems absolutely derivative and mediocre. Aphex Twin he ain't.

Yes, definately Paul. Since leaving the Beatles, he's just done crap like Mullet Kintyre and that dire freedom song. Comare that do some of the songs Lennon and Harrison did post-Beatles, and Mr. Smug comes of the worst.
I'm already sick of the song clocks from Coldplay, it's used on some advert all the time. They're the accountants of the indie scene to me.

Hearing "Freedom" made me hate the terrorists even more for subjecting me to that godawfulshit.

The Joshua Tree has got to be one of the best albums of the last 30 years.
I agree, I've always hated U2.

Amen.
The man is losing it the older he gets. The latest and in my opinion worst offense is changing the order of the credits on the 'Back in the USA' cd. Now Beatles songs are credited to "Paul McCartney and John Lennon" and his publicist has said its because he was tired of being perceived as second fiddle to Lennon.
If John were alive today and Paul made this juvenile fuss I bet John would say "Look, if its that important to you to have your name first, go right ahead."
Paul's music sucks, his attitude sucks and, yes, he most definitely is second fiddle, second banana, and not anywhere in the same league as John Lennon. Or George...or Ringo for that matter.

"Freedom" is the worst song Paul McCartney EVER wrote. It's worse than anything he ever did with Wings.
And thanks a lot to whoever mentioned it. Now the frickin' thing is stuck in my head.
