you must have stopped watching those strikers three years ago.
ok maybe shevchenko hasn't done very much last years, I agree...
but ruud scores almost every game (now he is injured), inzaghi is still important, he wins cups. Eto'o always scores and is very strong. Villa is very fast and scores winners.
and the rest.....is like the different between the big 4 in england and the tottenhams, aston villas, evertons.....very good but not maximum.

Many names are all hype for me. I don't rate Berbatov in the slightest. Big fee, big forehead, big cigarette habit. His goal scoring record in big games and so far for United hasn't done anything to change my opinion.

1 Ibra
2 Villa
3 Benzema
4 Eto'o
5 Torres

my top 5

3 Benzema
4 Eto'o
5 TorresThat looks good to me. I have no idea why anyone would bring Berbatov into this debate. That's just beyond stupid.

Berbatov has 100x the more reason to be in this discussion than Benzema

Only for those who don't understand the sport. Benzema has shown more in Champions the last 2 seasons than Berba did for Leverkusen.

As for national sides, Benzema is Zidane's heir #10 for France and Berbatov is hopeless for Bulgaria and wants dropping.

There is no-one in world, manager or director, who thinks Berbatov is a better footballer than Benzema at the moment.

You chastise Berbatov for not doing it in the big games yet Ibra is number 1?

In a serie A that was going into meltdown from the match fixing scandal? Face it, It's just not as good a league as it was. AC Milan drew with Portsmouth for crying out loud.

Big games? Ibra dominated several biggies this season Juve, Roma, scored against Spain in the euros this summer (they won it you know), and on the final day of the season last year with his team losing the title, scored 2 goals in 10 minutes to win them scudetto. he's not been in world cup final yet but he's stepped up in many big games, going back to his backheel goal v Italy in 2004 that sent Sweden thru. Unless he's been in world cup final and crapped it I don't know. Against Liverpool last season his team played 10 men both legs not much hope, even for Pele or Maradona!

Roma a big game? The team ManUtd demolished 7-1? I'm talking about in Europe. I don't consider many games within Serie A big games anymore. He will never make it to a World Cup final and to me that doesn't measure a good player, you can't help where you're born.

That's totally the way it is. Aston Villa are a better team than Portsmouth you realise? Portsmouth aren't in good form at all, yet Milan could only muster a draw against them. AC Milan aren't the team they were, which only further presses my issue.

Yes, Milan drew and will move on.

Other results this season which speak on the new "bad" serie a.

Roma in 17th place in meltdown league -- 3
Chelsea first in Premiership --- 1

Udinese 2
Spurs 0 (with 80 million more in players fees/salaries)
