well for arsenal fans, he is still loved there, not for us barca fans.

Figo spent 5 years at Barca and then moved directly to Real Madrid.

Also, Arsenal and Man Utd. aren't as heated of rivals as Barca and Real Madrid are.

Ur right on that it was directly, but they do have a pretty intense rivalry, not madrid barca like.
Believe me i understand figo to madrid was probably the biggest betrayal in football history, but i was just trying to make a joke. But I do think arsenal fans would feel betrayed if Henry went to Man U that is what i meant, not that it is in the same level of betrayal but that they would betrayed. Did i get my point across?

Not a striker really, more of an attacking midfielder mode . If he was, it would probably beat the record as the world shortest striker :)

We weren't saying he was ;)

I dont know how much use sir alex would get out of him. he is past his prime and eventhough the coach said he wants height in his next striker, im pretty sure he was implying heading capabilities which henry has none.

We have Manucho for heading and Ronaldo as well. The Henry rumour was interesting because he would provide a lot of what we need. Movement across the field both lateral and in behind, link-up play, technical skills, etc... He would have fitted into our squad quite nicely and the demand on him in terms of games would be reduced which would help negate his previous injury issues at Arsenal.

I think (hope) Henry is too classy to go to Man Utd. I don't think he wants to disrespect Arsenal.

Is he back from the loan-out for the up-coming season then ?

I believe so. He would have been at the club last season had we been able to secure a work permit.

I don't think he knows the meaning of the word.

Aren't all those things provided by tevez? what your team needs is a CLINICAL FINISHER that would link up well with a supporting striker (whether it be with ronaldo, rooney, tevez). Henry has shown that his clinical finishing has diminished severely in the past two seasons, especially in the last one with barca when iniesta and xavi were playing him through balls constantly that he wasted. A Benzema type would be a better alternative but price comes into play.

We need someone to do that to create space for Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez. Clinical finishing is not really required. There is a reason why we shifted from Ruud to Saha. I would hope we do not regress back again.

Your exactly right...Tevez does all of these things. Tevez is a great player, and I wouldnt say he would be a best striker in the world type guy, but he is a very solid guy that does a lot of different things for you.
