Haha I love the amount of comparisons and 'its like' comments. Have to to appologise, for some reason I've realised I had confused Luca Toni with Christian Vieri who was great but now past it. Toni is good I do admit, but not the same class as Torres in my opinion...although at the moment Ronaldo could probably be classed as striker and he's even better...

On the subject of Arsene only buying french...well it's not racist he does buy players from other countries...often their language is french though...but its like calling buying english players racist...but he's said recently he'll buy more english like hes just bought a guy called Luke Freeman. But on the subject of us buying Toni...I would FAR rather have Ribery...I was so pissed off and still am that we didn't manage to buy him I thought he was a shoe in, I still wish we'd break the bank to get him as I think he's great. Although French...again.

By the way I'm pretty sure Toni has only scored about 16 in all competitions not the 36 you seem to quote as this would put him close to Cristiano Ronaldo for the European Golden Boot title and I know for a fact that Ronaldo is SIX points clear of Huntlaar in second place so Toni can not possibly have 36 goals.

Teddy Sheringham certainly was a great stiker in his day. Shame he couldn't do it for Colchester United though.

I meant that I give up on telling people that Cristiano Ronaldo isn't a striker.

I don't know why people keep saying C. Ronaldo, he may score a hell of a lot of goals, but that doesn't make him a designated striker.
