Too bad Ronaldo isn't a striker...which is what this thread is about...
exactly.
Torres = Best striker in the world now
Ronaldo = Best player in the world now

Judging by his other pick, I think he means the Brazilian...neither have been worth a damn for going on two seasons.

He's a Man United fan, he meant C. Ronaldo.

so that there is no confusion, lets just say Cristiano, or C.Ronaldo ,
until the fat one retires, i think we could give him some respect, he is the all time WC leading scorer.

All Ronaldo's are overrated.
De Lima, Gaucho, and Cristiano are all overrated.

Its a shame many in this thread have not mentioned him when its so obvious that Toni is the best at the moment.

Toni is sick, but hes not better then Torres.
Your just so high off that extra time comeback win that Bayern just pulled over Getafe in the UEFA that your blinded.
Both goals were the keepers fault.

Hardly, just look at his contribution this whole season.
And I didn't say one was better than the other, they are both the best in the world at the moment. That spot can certainly be shared. :D

Toni still deserves credit for both and I don't see the second as being a mistake.

It's up to debate really and it's certainly not as one-sided. There is no clear better. They're both very different kind of striker. Torres can do things that Toni can't and Toni can do things that Torres can't. And for example, Torres can be stopped by such defenders as Ferdinand and Toni hasn't really had trouble beating any kind of defender.

Watch it again. Keeper came out, hesitated, then backtracked towards his initial position. At this point he slipped just as Toni is about to head it towards the ground, then the keeper jumps a total of 1 inch off the ground as the ball goes directly over his fingertips.
Toni header was brilliant regardless though. No denying that. Well placed.
