I would take all those players I mentioned above hand over Fabiano. I would take Luca Toni before Fabiano as well.

Let me be the first (and last) to add Eddie Johnson (Fulham/USA) to the list.

Lucky for Fabiano, Eto'o was out for a lot of the season. Eto'o has 11 goals in 11 league appearances.

I know for a fact that he has 11 goals. He either has 10 or 11 appearances (in the league) for Barca this season, I'm not entirely sure. He has been averaging at least a goal per game.

So, um, Teso, are you going to answer my question about Henry and Ibra?

Take Pauleta out of there...
No way you can classify him as the best striker in the world...NO WAY.

Really we should just reach a consensus that the best striker right now is Torres and close the thread.
El Nino is amazing. What impresses me the most is how quickly he adapted to the English game. It's very different playing for Liverpool than playing for Atletico Madrid, and he didn't miss a beat. That is a testament to the versatility of his game.
I think you can put him in any team in the world, in any system, and he will be a top goalscorer.

He's not really a striker though...
