I have to agree with the learned liverpool fan, Torres is by far the best striker in the world, definitely for the last month at least, I'm just greatful I'm not newcastle this weekend. It's hard to look at goal scoring alone tho, as Adebayor and Ronaldo almost equally have MASSIVE goals per game ratios this year, the English league is pretty free scoring this year compared to the others, I think its the new balls.

I have to say that Torres has looked fantastic this season. I just hope he's rested when we play Liverpool in April.

Isn't that a bad thing?

Er .. no. Being a Birmingham fan, I don't particularly want him playing against us because he'd take our defence apart at the moment.

You said "rested" and I accidentally added the "well" and couldn't edit it. Same difference :D

The best is Ruud, he was the greatest in Holland then in England and now in Spain. He is missed no matter who he plays for (Real do not seem as much of a threat when he is not playing), I think it will only be a few years after he retires we realize how good this fella really was.

Ruud was Real's most important player last season. This season it's either Casillas or Robinho.

I disagree-I think both of these players were playing in the week.

 Yes, both Casillas and Robinho were playing this week (against Espanyol). RVN didn't.

Let me clarify-both of these players were playing in the week (in europe) and Real did not qualify.

My friend, Fernando José Torres Sanz, but you can call him "El Ninő". ;)

Robinho wasn't even close to fully match fit. Even with Ruud, Real would not have necessarily advanced. He himself has been pretty inconsistent.
