I wouldnt say that Adebayor is the best or most skilled striker in the world but he is in very good form.

Nistelrooy is their most dangerous scorer (the Dutch's), but the most dangerous in attack (including taking on defenders, opening up the field by drawing players, etc) is Robben (when healthy obviously)
One last Arjen Robben post. For all those who doubted his influence in the attacking one third of the field (Teso, MrTwix), his last game was a perfect example of his potential.

Theres no doubt he's injury-prone, but it was discussed that when he is healthy, he is one of the most dangerous players in the game and is extremely beneficial to his team, which others disagreed on.

I agree that he is talented going forward, but one of the most dangerous I disagree with. If he was so dangerous, Chelsea would have not unloaded him, and he would be playing regularly for Madrid.

Him being let go by Chelsea had nothing to do with his talent and his ability as a player.

Grinners is right. Him being sold to Madrid does not take away from his talent or potential. And in regards to being a regular, he is still gaining match fitness, and since you brought up transfers, I'm sure you are aware that Robben is the fifth most expensive signing of Real Madrid EVER. That's in the same company with little known guys like Zidane, Figo, Ronaldo, Beckham

I don't care, Robben is very easily taken out of games by defenders who force him to his right foot.

I don't know about 'very easily', otherwise he wouldn't have gotten to the level he has. There are a few fullbacks that have his number, like Miguel, but overall I think that his combination of pace, close control and feints means he's not easily taken out of the game by most fullbacks.

I would agree Henry on top form. I think of difference between someone like Ruud and his poaching for many goals and someone like rooney who can blast from outside the box makes Rooney a better striker.

I keep telling you, Raul is God....he is way above all this petty arguing about best strikers.
Full credit to Raul for finally hitting double figures in the league after being incapable of doing so in the three seasons prior to this one...

I never doubted what he 'could' do given the right circumstances but the fact remains that he is incredibly inconsistent, very injury prone and can be easily rendered irrelevant by good defending. I do like how you posted what you did after his first good game in god knows how long. Come back to me when he makes a difference on a regular basis and against sides that are not mediocre.

Van Nistelrooy is the better striker and Rooney is the better support striker. Knowing the difference between their two roles is key.

And full credit to you for the snide comment that completely misses the point that while he has had a few lean seasons (for a variety of reasons) he is still worshipped by us because ...well because he is God.
