In light of the occasion, I'd like to say that I think Randy Moss is currently the best "striker" in the world. :p;)

I would have to say that it based on form, at current....it would have to be c ronaldo. I think anyone that has watched even a few of the last man u matches (and not the portugal match)....has to say that he has been the most entertaining player in the world. Scoring goals, dribbling....passing.
I'm just wondering if anyone has suggested Fabiano....I was surprised to see that he is leading the champions league in scoring. He's a goal scoring machine this year.
I want to say Eto'o....but he has only played a limited amount of matches....but just having him in the squad makes Barca more formidable....it seems that he opens space for everyone else. Plus, if anyone has noticed, when Eto'o plays, Henry is by far more dangerous out on the flank....and Barca play more direct. It will be interesting when Eto'o comes back and Messi AND RONALDINHO are in the lineup.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Vagner Love. He's freaking incredible for Brazil.

Don't want to drag all this up again but C. Ronaldo is not a striker... no one would disagree with you that he's one of the best players in the world right now, and one of the best goal scorers.

How many goals did Robinho score? How many goals did VL score? Exactly!
VL > Robinho

Except that he's not. Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo are the top scorers in the CL with 5 goals each.

If he hadn't been injured before the final, Brazil would have defeated France instead of losing 3-0 :(.

Yeah, that's my bad. I had seen some people post about c ronaldo....but afterwards I was thinking "he isn't a striker'.
I'm not too sure about love....I haven't really seen him play other than when he's playing for Brazil. What do you all think of Jo's potential?

If Fabiano isn't the leading scorer (I don't watch sevilla)....then this is where I saw that he had 7 CL goals. Perhaps I shouldn't be sourcing this website?
http://www.goal.com/en/sezione.aspx?IdSezione=167
Anyways, I checked it out game by game, and you're right....seems like he only has 4 goals. Anyhow, I thought I'd clarify where I sourced the information. Don't want to discredit myself as soon as I join.

VL > Robinho
Robinho and VL are two different styles of forwards. Both are extremely effective on their good days, but I think Robinho's game suits Brazil more, so if i had to choose between the two it would definately be Robinho.
