Trez Zlatan Klose Ruud and Henry are probably top of world class strikers as of now

I wouldn't consider Henry to be one of the very best strikers in the world at the moment. Eto'o > Henry (for Barcelona at least)

fair play on Eto'o but you can not doubt Henry's ability when fit to score and create. Henry is so good with the ball he can pass or shoot only weakess has always been in the air. I always rated him above Ruud when they were both in England.

Its because he is better then Ruud.

Henry was considered among the best a few years ago. If you have been watching him week in and week out this season, he has not kept the same level of performance, and should not be considered among the best. There are a handful of strikers that I would put over him, and like mentioned before, he isnt the best even on his own team.

 Adebayor's finishing is the worst part of his game...he did improve it from last season to now but he needs to improve it much more.

Adebayor does have some work to do on his finishing – he's become quite good at the spectacular, but sometimes the best thing a striker can do is make a goal look easy.

I definitely wouldn't say it's the worst part of his game though. It's hard to judge right now since he's on such a hot streak, but I would cite his "roaming" tendencies – which can sometimes be a big positive – as his main weakness. Sometimes (not lately) he'll get lost in games, playing too deep or too wide and just not always being the target in the box, which he needs to be.

Nitpicking though. He's quite wonderful.

I still stand by my decision, Eto'o is currently on fire considering how long he has been out.

Ruud has been great this season, but he's been too inconsistent. One game he's lethal, then the next he becomes frustrating.

Torres missed 5 chances. Now tell me how many chances like those has he missed for all his other games?

Dunno, lost count. Joking, would swap Torres for Ameobi, probably on the cards for summer. Torres misses chances at a similar rate to Adebayor I would say. I think Torres is a better player - and undoubtedly should be considered but he like Adebayor seems to miss good chances. Technically Torres is superior but Adebayor has been fantastic this season, he's just scored a tap in two minutes ago against Man City.

I think the difference is that at Arsenal there are a lot more creative players than Liverpool, Torres would probably out score Adebayor if he played for Arsenal.

Ruud's goal record was superior and that is the fundamental role of a striker.

See above.

Ruud was always a better finisher but to have a striker who can score and pass the ball as well as move with amazing pace is special. I know Henry has not been fit and his play is not what it was but I would give him a bit more time to prove match fitness before saying he is done for.

Henry stood out from the crowd because as well as being consistently prolific in England he also assisted an extremely large number of goals.

His replacement at Arsenal, Adebayor, has certainly exceeded expectations this season.

IIRC, Henry had something like 33 assists one season. Insane.

Eto'o hasn't been playing enough (due to injury and ACN) to really decide how good he is compared to other world elite's. I can't say anything about Torres because I haven't watched any of Liverpool.

Liverpool vs Sunderland overnight...Torres was partnered with Crouch and had to play a different/deeper role so they wouldnt get in each others' way...that shows his ability to play different roles as a striker and shows his intelligence/smarts on the pitch. Given he was sort of supporting Crouch for the whole game, when he got his chance he put it away...check out his goal near the end of the game. He managed to accelerate away from a defender who wouldve usually been able to close him down and cut down the angle. A top-class striker.

The same can be said about Eto'o during the Valencia game.

Torres and Adebayor are certainly pure class but none the less are young and developing strikers. I can not say I would rate a single striker in the Premiership right now in the class of a fit Trez, Zlatan, Ruud, Henry, or Klose.

All those guys infront of Ruud except Klose.

I would take Ruud over Klose as well but not many people realise how quality Klose is because the Bundesliga is the forgotten league of Europe. His strike rate for club and country is solid.

Eto'o has only played in 8 games for Barca this year. 8 great games, but it just doesn't feel right putting him in that top class when that's all he's played.

Even as a Barcelona fan I agree with you. Hopefully he does well in the African Cup of Nations and comes back hungry for a comeback to win La Liga
