I am going to Liverpool on Nov.1 to see the CL match. (I'm going to Liverpool regardless if the match is cancelled or not now as I have booked the travel. Finding tickets is a bit of a challenge as I don't know a soul in Liverpool.....there was some talk that match might not sell out, I do not know for sure yet, the club hasn't even starting selling tickets for that match. Because of the planning involved in getting to London from Arkansas, much less to Liverpool, I'd like to get this ticket issue wrapped up before I leave.

I have found several web site where I can order tickets for this match for a reasonalbe price. However, I can only have them shipped to the UK. So... would anyone let me order them and have them sent to them......lot of trust involved here for perfect strangers but I've never been burnt before.

flame away with the tout remarks.......... If I had any other choice I'd do so, I have looked for a month.

I'd be happy to mate. Besides I have no interest in poaching a Liverpool ticket off you - Arsenal Spurs - youd never hear from me again :D

Failing that Rick lives just down the road from me and im sure he'd be happy to oblige

Just an idea, but I got a ticket in 2003 for a UEFA Cup match at Anfield simply by contacting some people on a Liverpool message board much like this one. I think the tickets went on sale to the general public anyway, but we got a nice seat in the Kop and had a nice time at Anfield. I found most of them to be nice folks, but not as nice as the Arsenal folks.

anyway, that's just a thought.

then I'd just keep abreast of it. I was told during my trip that mid-week matches aren't as well attended because Liverpool has a lot of supporters throughout the country who travel to matches on Saturdays but can't make mid-week matches.

Do you know who they are playing?

I'm pretty sure that game is against Anderlecht, so it shouldn't be the hottest ticket. I'll probably be watching Brighton v. Wolves that day, should be interesting, i've never seen a Minor League Soccer game. ;)

I hope you enjoy it. I enjoyed the lower league matches i saw in 2003 (Sheffield Utd at Rotherham and Tranmere at Brentford).

On this next trip, I'm going with a Rotherham friend to see the Millers at Tranmere. Should be fun (and cold!)

It is Anderlecht. I figured in most years that it would be no problem but since they are defending champions that it might be more of a trick.

Billy,

Check this site and poke around a bit. It's a good LFC independent supporters interactive site: http://www.redandwhitekop.com/

Would of replied earlier Billy, but was away. If thats the route you want to go down hold on and I'll make a couple of calls. I'd get it a lot cheaper probably. But I will of course say that in Liverpool you will have no problem getting 2 tickets together outside the stadium for a lot cheaper. But I do understand you want to know that you have them. Funnily enough it looks like I may be in Liverpool that day for work purposes, so therefore might join you for a drink beforehand and watch the game. Pm me if you haven't sorted it out yet.

Not sure what SP stands for, but i'll be in London for the Man City game, a bunch of others are arriving for the Spurs game, then Arsenal America is coming for Sparta Prague and Sunderland. I'm leaving the day after the CL match, so i won't be seeing Sunderland this trip, darn it! ;)

AH right. Bit disjointed then...

SP - literally means Start Price (as in horse racing) but is used as a general slang for whats happening.

"Whats Happening with"
"whats the Craic with"
"Whats the SP"
"Whats the deal"

All pretty much interchangable
