Ashley out for at least 1 month with fractured bone in his foot. So he is out for internationals as well as a few Arsenal matches-maybe he'll be back by the Sunderland match eh Cam?

Glad to hear it. Hopefully he avoids injury.

looks like Sol will be left out of the England team if reports are to be believed. Eriksson is an idiot if he picks an out of form Ferdinand who has already cost two points against Northern Ireland by losing concentration and playing Healy onside, but at least Campbell will be fresh when he comes back.

I think Sven is (and has been) doing everything he can to get fired.

You may well be right, there's talk that he's going to start Peter Crouch!

Whats wrong with Crouch? Haven't you seen those goals he's scored for Liverpool?

LOL! Owen and Crouch would make a great up front team! No middle crosses please. Only high and low. Thanks Becks!

Sven's behavior reminds me of my 2-year old daughter. Just constantly testing the limits. Will this get me fired? How about this. This should do the trick.......

Sol gets nod (http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=345095&cc=5901) and Rio is out for the Austria match.

Glad to see Sol get the cap and hope he does well with Terry in the back line.

I'm happy for Sol but this isn't good for Arsenal. Sol seems to always get injured with England. This whole injury saga started with England a couple of summers ago and then he came back and got reinjured with them. There were stories that the England physios (which include an Arsenal physio) didn't handle his injury correctly for whatever reason. After all that I'm just praying that we get a healthy Sol back.

I don't know about the physios being at fault. As you say Gary Lewin is the Arsenal physio and he's also England's head physio, so any treatment would surely have to be okayed with him.

Wenger blamed the staff but it looks like the team doc was probably his focus.

Check this out. (http://www.arseweb.org/www/newsreel/t1i529.html)

There were a bunch of stories like that out at that time.
