If a man gets an idea for a new business and through hard work and his own skill and intelligence makes £10 million do you envy him? Do you respect what he has achieved?
If another man wins £10 million on the lottery do you envy him equally? Do you respect him?
No way - Joey!

Took me a while to work out what you were on about, but I am with you now ;) (I think).
PS - you are not the only one who thinks you are a bit of a nutter :).

To a jealous person it will not make any difference. He will be jealous with no respect in any case. Most normal people will envy the dude who won the lottery. Zani will talk to the one with the business idea.

Yes I agree - envy the lottery winner but he does not deserve our respect. Thank you Zani!

Grimster since you speak Zani language, let's talk.
So you are saying Chelsea don't deserve respect because they won lottery? It is actually the opposite. They had a good business idea. They picked the right owner. Look at Manchester with Glazer. Is that a lottery or a business idea?

Dunno, sometimes the guy who earns his money doesn't get much respect either from those who are successful in their own right, but not to the same degree.
Just sayin'. ;)

They did ?? Blimey, Chelsea ARE clever aren't they? And there was me thinking they were overspending every year, getting in a bigger and bigger pile of ********, until they got lucky by a complete fluke, and all along it was a viable business plan! WOW

It isn't a plan. I've been living well beyond my means and playing the lotto in hopes of paying it all off. Damn! Guess I've got to become a bit more fiscally responsible.

Do you think it was a fluke Roman invested on Chelsea? I thought your policy would not allow Arsenal to be bought like that.- business idea!

Err....how do I put this ? YES. Ken Bates business plan was just about to totally fail when Roman bailed him and Chelsea out. Maybe Bates was trying to make Chelsea an easy target for a excessively rich playboy with a desire for a new hobby, but I certainly dont believe it.

What is lottery or a fluke there? Did he throw a dice and picked the name Abramovich?
