I just found this thread (I've been gone for a few days) I'm so psyched. I fly out the night of the 31st and return the afternoon of the 8th. Is anyone going to Liverpool for their CL match? (Note: I haven't read the thread yet, but if you have already posted I will read it in the next hour or so).

How about other activities?

Are you going to the Sunderland match on the 5th? That is when most of us are going......not sure yet about anything else.

We need a cruise director for non-game related activities. I nominate Ashley..... :D

Me and Ashley are going to Liverpool v. Anderlecht for sure on Tuesday and on Monday night right before that we are going to Manchester to see Citeh v. Villa.

CL tickets for Liverpool have been a bit of a trick. I think Rick's gonna come through for me on that, but if not we are just gonna buy outside Anfield prior to the match.

Post any questions. We are taking the train back to London on Wednesday morning to be a Highbury by early afternoon at the latest. Let me know.

Ash can be the cruise director when she's not at a game but I've got her booked for a few. As of now:

28th @ Spurs/ARSENAL
30th @ Citeh /Villa
1st @ Anfield/Anderlecht
2nd @ Highbury, ARSENAL/ Sparta Prague
5th @ Highbury, ARSENAL/ Sunderland

I'm hoping someone over there can find us an easy to get to lower league game one night, so I can see some "real football" :D

home on the 6th, if any of you are flying home on the 7th and want to take a real flyer on a match, Manchester United play Chelsea on the 6th.

I get into Heathrow the morning of the 1st at 6:05. It seems the trains to Liverpool go out of Euston Station. I would probably take the Paddington Express. Does anyone know how long I should allow to get to Euston from Paddington?

It's about 15 mins on the tube. Take into account you'll have luggage and you have a long walk between platforms at Paddington I'd give yourself 30 mins.

Not as far as I know, Ive pretty much confined it to a few rows in the North Bank and one or two odd ones in the East stand. But the meeting place is the T-Bird downstairs bar from 5pm, so come there and you'll see the mayhem first hand!!!
