It's almost 2 goals : the first one is a superb shot from 25 metres and the second one is a free-kick from 30 meters that the goalkeeper can't handle and Tiago is there to push the ball into the back of the net. But I don't have the videos !

a pretty classy game, and OL looks like they're finally getting the wheels turning in L1.
RVR, diatta and berthod ALL suspended (note: OL won the fairplay award last year, but it will be a miracle if they repeat, it's raining biscottes so far this year) so the defensive flanks were filled by monsoreau on the left (no surprise) and homegrown françois clerc on the right in his very first L1 start for lyon (12 matches last year on loan to toulouse).
his inexperience showed; the first 10 minutes all monterrubio. half a dozen crosses, a near strike and a warning for clerc. källström's goal was a real blast from just outside the box.
some good work forward, including a caviar cross that malouda just missed with helped clerc settle in. and even just after källström's zinger, OL didn't seem worried; 80 minutes is a long time.
more than half of those minutes went by without an equalizer, but after pulling out 2 draws and a win even whan they weren't playing well, OL remained confident that on an evening they were playing well that success would come.
as so many times before, it was juni who showed the way. a cannon shot from 25m, and then a juninho® freekick that isaksson could only box back at tiago who headed it right back in. in passing, lets say hats off to tiago, who is really becoming a big part of this team.
the third goal was by wiltord. at the last second he tried to give the goal to benzema; faty blocked his pass back at him but nobody could do anything about his shot. 3-0, with style, a lot of confidence, and some new faces. a nice night out!

this translated from l'équipe
Frei down in the dumps
Switzerland's Alexander Frei raised the pressure by declaring that the Swiss have nothing to lose in their WC qualifier.
"we'll play in front of a sellout crowd (32 000 personnes). An entire nation is behind their team. On the other hand, if a Zidane, a Vieira, a Makelele don't go to the world cup, they'll have to be ashamed." As for himself though, last year's top L1 scorer (20 goals), who has been almost silent this season (1 goal) he says he's morally "in the dumps" after going scoreless again this week (Rennes - Lyon 1-3).
"For the moment, France has nothing to fear from Frei. If I play like I did against Lyon, it's like we're playing with 10 men. Mentally I'm at zero. WE have a generation that doesn't have any complexes, except me."
so perhaps OL is doing more for the EdF than just contributing players? or is this just mind games?

Juninho is unstoppable!note that rosenborg tried (once) what lots of L1 clubs had talked about: no wall on the free kick.
juni's goal at rennes was his first of the season, but he doesn't need to score to drive the team. sometimes i think his celebration is as important as the goal itself. no backflips, airplanes or getting undressed; he just gets mystical, teary-eyed and kisses the crest on his jersey. jesus that pumps everybody up! and he plays gerland like a violin. he's the heart and soul of the team, maybe even the whole town!
