Sorry, but not knowing any more information about what happened, I can't tell you if the call was correct or not.

Okay, let's lighten up. We have a young poster here, not an adult. Madison, you need to provide more detail. My thinking on this is that you are looking at things with partisan eyes. How close was the referee to play. Were both players pushing each other to win the ball? Lot's of factors and your description is too vague to offer an opinion.

This sounds very much like a YHTBT problem. Madison asked for explanatory examples, maybe this will help.
In a recent game where there was the typical tussle in the corner, Red fouled Blue, as I was bringing my whistle to my lips, Blue fouled Red. I'd already stopped the game for the first foul, so the restart was a free kick to Blue, verbal dressing down to Blue to leave the players in no doubt that I had observed the second incident but had already stopped play.
Maybe this is what happened in your game but the ref didn't explain the call because he wasn't close enough/wanted to get play restarted?

Similar thing happened to me yesterday.
I saw a player pushed down and blew the whistle while pointing the direction for the free kick. As the kick was being taken, I realized I had pointed in the wrong direction. No one objected and there was no advantage gained so I allowed play to continue. Yes it was wrong. These things happen and it did not affect the outcome of the game so - play on.

If the PM about you getting a B in English is true, then you either have some really poor or really kind teachers.
On a serious note however, you're talking about high school soccer. You're getting referees who are free on a weekday afternoon. Some will be good, other's will be bad. Its kind of like players. Its also entirely possible the referee saw something you missed, like perhaps your defender yanking the attacker's shirt first and decided to call this before the mugging you claimed to see.
If you want serious answers and to see your concerns addressed I'd suggest posing more coherent questions insetad bitching about perceived miscarriages of justice.
