Again I must be missing your point.

Maka is a freak. He just played 90 minutes against Liverpool twice, and 90 against Aston Villa all in just 8 days. The guys is an absolute workhorse. I don't give a rats ass if he is 33 going on 34.

Evra is a really good talent and Abidal has not really got loads of experience.

I just looked up Maka's stats, and he has played 90 minutes for every match this year. The only match he missed was Sunderland because of suspension.
As for Evra, he is my second choice at left back. He's a nice player, but I think that Abidal is just a stronger, more solid choice at this point. Evra gets caught forward a little too much for my liking.

I think what your saying is true but I dont think anyone can ever replace Bixente Lizarazu though. I just wish he would come out of retirement just like Zidane,Makelele and Thuram have done.

Evra is a really good talent and Abidal has not really got loads of experience.now you're getting silly. evra and abidal have been playing top flight football the same period of time; evra has a few more matches which roughly correspond to the time abidal has missed for injuries.

evra is a really good talent. but not a patch on abidal, who is very honestly the next thuram. he's gold-plated dynamite.

He's never been given a chance due to consistent injury problems and he still remains a huge possiblity to become better than Liza and much better than Evra.

I think's he a great young defender.
