Down 1-0 from a fantastic Youri Jerkoff cross to Magee.
Now LeBouef is being interviewed for MSG, saying he wants to play in MLS but no one will have him.
********ing Frogs.
25th minute.

A fat and gay joke in one fell swoop, God Bless you, CFL.
Man, we're just knocking on New Jersey's door.
5th corner already
And Fat Tony snags it.

Chiming in late...This field sucks. Rimando got a yellow because of the damn markings.

We have the run of play for the most part, don't look that bad going forward with clever little one-twos, but we just seem to hit a wall once we hit the 16.
What I wouldn't give to have Esky out there bombing forward to smash one of those nice little Adu/Quaranta passes home.
This has the makings of a frustrating 1-0 loss. Meola seems to be on his game tonight with two nice saves on Jaime's, and DC's, two most dangerous chances.
Edit: Watching Chicago-Kansas City at the half. I have never in my entire life heard a more quiet sports crowd. Disgusting.

Thought the same thing. Did you see his expression after he realized it? It was all "hot potato"

Typical DC dominant performance except for one brain fart.
No one pressures Youri and Brian Carroll, the new Arena boy, simply falls asleep and lets Magee waltz by him for an easy header.
Lot's of DC pressure in the Mutts end of the field coming to nothing. Are we going to score a goal up in that God forsaken toxic waste dump this season?
Let's hope so.

Don't really agree with that. On the replay there was no line any where near him only big white hash marks, he should know to look for yellow. I do agree that the stinking pointy ball markings suck sweaty hairy monkey balls.

Yeah, that sucks. It'll be great when they get their stadium. Anyway, this is a pretty crappy game. We get nothing started quickly from the back between Olsen and Carroll, and Prideaux and Namoff aren't much better in quickly moving the ball forward. Possession is fairly meaningless if you aren't creating chances.

Nice cross from your-a-dork.
We're playing like crap. Not a big, steaming-coil crap, but more of a dried, tootsie roll crap.
What's with this ping-pong passing anyway. It's like they think they're going to get points for passing the ball, regardless of where it goes.
If we don't tighten it up, this will be a 3-0 game by the 80th minute.
BTW, the sky is not falling...

Not looking bad at half. Carroll left Magee wide open on the goal. It was a well crafted play. Clog the middle and push the ball wide to Youri. I believe they had a man advantage in the middle to start.
Only person who really doesn't seem to be contributing is Gros. Only time we have had anything decent down the right is when Jaime or Freddy get over there. Maybe it is time for Wilson.
Other than that I wouldn't change anything except make the soccer lines a darker color.

No, based on the vibe I'm getting from watching this. The Rimando handball outside the box is the main clue that he may be headed for one of those games where his mental errors will come back to haunt us.
Frankly, the 'tards have been playing relatively well of late, and I think we're going to have a hard time clawing a win out of this game.
Back to the game...
Holy sh!t, we just scored. Forget what I just said.
