Mike,
I spoke with the owner of Nevada's - He asked me to call back around 4pm today. He's waiting to see if S. America is getting a live feed. If so, he will have it. If not, then I'll be listening on my Sirius satellite tomorrow morn....stay tuned!

Delta Blues Poised For Biggest Revival Since 1915
September 28, 2005 | Issue 41•39
NEW ORLEANS—Blues historians report that Delta blues, an early blues form that arose in the Mississippi Delta region, is poised for its biggest revival since 1915. "Death, loss, heartbreak, isolation, hard luck—that's what the blues have been missing for decades," said music critic Joel Kushner. "But now, even the most sheltered, derivative Delta blues musician should have enough material to cut an album." The revival is heralded by the recent singles "FEMA Don't Come 'Round No More," "Category Five Woman Done Me Six Kinds Of Wrong," and "Talkin' Drownded Kin Blues."

Hey Ash, how's the car shopping going? Any favorites?
Edit: I was just looking at the list (http://www.cars.com/go/advice/Story.jsp?section=top&story=mpgBest&subject=best_mpg&referer=advice) of the most fuel efficient cars and noticed alot of VW's, of course they are all Diesels but y'know, for you. that might be the way to go. Diesel engines are very fuel efficient and are also more reliable and longer lasting than gas engines. Something to think about.

I thought about that, but there's probably only one or two VW dealerships in the state so I was a bit concerned about how difficult it would be to get it fixed, reg. maint., etc. Plus the jetta tdi (the diesel one that keeps making the fuel efficiency lists) is a new model so it's still pretty high. The civic is usually one of the highest gas models on the list and they start pretty low so I may do that. I figure now that the 06 models are out the 05 models will drop yet are still "new" so they will draw the lower interest rate.

Not a bad plan, Civics are always rated as having the lowest total cost of ownership. For some reason that statistic never really got me too excited, but the mileage is good and they're nice cars. If you're going to get the Civic, its probably worth it to get it new. They're resale value is so high, that you won't really save that much buying one that's a year or two old. On the other hand with the mileage you're racking up, it might be worth taking a look around for cheap used one. You're gonna blow through the warranty pretty quick either way.
