i'm so pumped. i almost cried when they won on friday night and i screamed the loudest scream of my life when Damon went down in the bottom of the 6th. I was driving down to Bloomington, IL and AM 1000 started going out near the end of the game and I could barely hear it. I'm so happy for the team. They totall deserve everything they are getting right now.

cab company's answer, "Flag one down."
number of cabs that I saw: 2
I was so pissed. There were zero cabs out, all the cab numbers were busy, and my friend almost got in a chick fight with a girl over a cab. It wouldn't have been that bad, but it was like 40 degrees out and windy so it was freezing. We were out there for 45 minutes, until my friend who's place I was staying at woke up and picked us up. bad ending to a great night

Hola from Orange County. I've been here on business since Tuesday. Got out to the Rose Bowl for UCLA/Cal yesterday. What a game! Definitely one of the best I've ever seen, and there is no better setting for college football than the Rose Bowl.
And by the way, it's tough to be in Orange County when you're rooting for the Steelers against the Chargers and the Yankees against the Angels.
