Guess Steph is hiding out after the Astros trounced the Braves last night. Though it is only the first game, an away win is big.

Also looks like Dan's ChiSox are in a good position to take the series. Glad the Angels leveled with the Yankees. A Yankees loss is always a good thing IMO!!
yeah, i can't believe the Sahx won and are up 2-0, but everyone knows it ain't over until it's over.

Hopefully Steve Bartman didn't convert to a Sox fan after Cubs fiasco! :D

The iguana population in south Florida is extremely bad, particularly out on Key Biscayne (just off of downtown Miami). The place is overrun with them and they are pushing out native plants and animals. Amazing since they are NOT native to Florida.
I'll handle your 'go-ana problem, mate.

He released a solo album earlier this year. I caught the page/plant tour of 98...it was pretty good.

I'm going to see David Gray at Radio City tonight. should be good - he's not my favorite but he does put on a quality show!

Damn, GP, hittin all the shows!

Also, you once mentioned that you left a different carrer to go into the music biz. What did you do before and how did you get hooked up in your new gig? I always though it would be fun, though I am not in the market for a career move.

Plant has been doing a solo tour of the US for a while, a friend saw him here in Diego about two months ago. He might want to get a new publicist, though. I didn't hear about the tour or the show until afterwards.

We are staying at Castle House in Brecon so let me know what you think about the town. Seems like a nice small outdoorsy area! Can't wait!

Fecking hell: Miami awarded the 2010 Super Bowl!?! I realize Atlanta has fewer entertainment options but jeeez! Miami already has the 2007 game, and every Super Bowl/ college game held in ATL has gotten rave reviews save for the ice storm before the Titans/Rams. (Which clearly affected the quality of their play, seeing as how it's regarded as one of the best Super Bowls ever. )

In other news, Welcome, back hockey. True sports fans missed you, and I'll enjoy having another Philly team to root against! :D

I have a feeling that after the Ray Lewis incident, Atlanta's not going to get a Super Bowl for a long, long time.

The weird part of the OT Road Trip meeting up with the ArseAm trip will be calling everyone by their proper name! I still have trouble calling 'Coach' Brad!!!

I've been to Brecon before, my cousin works there and lives about 15 minutes South of the town. Its a beautiful little town, i'm going to be in that area for 2 nights so i'll let you know if i have any recommendations for restaurants, etc.

after graduating from Va Tech I moved back home to work for my phamily's business. We manufactured and distributed industrial, marine, and sanitation supplies and cleaners...I had previously worked in music - Marketing for Virgin Records, a few radio station internships, blockbuster music - but decided to assist the fam.

2 years later, I decided I had to have a job which made me excited to go to work everyday. That was last August. I moved to NYC in Nov...I only had a few contacts but was able to start working at the Times Sq. Virgin Megastore while I searched. I started w/ EMI on Dec 14th (the same day as the EMI x-mas party - unbelievable party let me tell you...) I found out about the job via a brother of a close friend of mine...turns out I had 3 seperate connections to my current boss!

I make way less money these days (at least until I take this place over ;) ) but, for the most part, I am stoked to go to work everyday.
