If Yossi gets hurt, I will go nuts. Anybody know what the expected line up will be? Also, does anybody else here have one of the new shirts from this season? I bought one when I went to visit Yossi at Upton Park and I find that the shirt is made of probably the cheapest material that Reebok could find. It looks like after a couple of washes the crest and jobserve.co.uk advert will fall off the shirt.

The team won't be much different from the team that played the arse, (imho) as for the shirt, did you buy it at the club shop or off some stall in Queens market? If the latter, you gets what you pay for! ;)

Yes I got one.
I wasn't going to bother after I saw one in town for the reduced rate of £32 and noticed the cheap batch and logos. After that I came back home to tell my wife of my findings and the following day I found out that she had bought me one for our first anniversary. DOH!! :o
Still, she did buy me the away shirt which I think is OK ish. But like you say KYHS the badge is crap. It is the official shirt because I have seen the players also have shiney badges etc.
I can only imagine that it is made from some newly discovered adhesive plastic/polymer of some kind which is wash proof, bullet proof, resistant to all known germs and guaranteed to survive impact of all things except Marlon's head.
It is a severe disappointment to pay around £40 for the cheapest materials around plus a non embroided badge.
About time we ditched crappy Reebok I think. I have never really liked there strips or leisure wear. Plus to kill any association with Bolton must be a good thing.

Having got my fingers well and truly burnt by the Bolton result, I am reluctant to take the plunge again for fear of putting the kybosh on our recent run. However I am pleased to see that Mark Lawrenson has predicted on the BBC site that we will lose 1-0, if I remember rightly he has predicted against us in most of the games this season and we've done OK!
I don't remember what he predicted when we played Bolton earlier - can anyone else recall?

I think after you add Benayoun, 15, and the Premiership badge, my shirt came out to around £52! But it was worth it because that way Yossi recognized me when I stayed at the same hotel as the national team when they played Switzerland.

Mike1-1, if I remember correctly.
I'm looking for a wide open match tomorrow.
4-2 Hammers.
Teddy
Matty

and Zamora in stoppage time.
And after a 1-1 draw at The Valley, the Hammers move up to 4th. :D

The squad to face Sunderland will come from the following (OS)
Carroll (GK), Hislop (GK), Etherington, Mullins, Gabbidon, Repka, Reo-Coker, Ward, Collins, Dailly, Newton, Ferdinand, Harewood, Zamora, Konchesky, Sheringham, Bellion, Benayoun, Williams, Clarke.
This is being shown live on Sky in NZ, so for once I don't have to get up in the middle of the bloody night!
UP THE HAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Mark Lawro' had got his predictions right: we'd be sitting on the bottom with 1 point. He predicted us to lose every game except the Bolton one, where he thought we'd scrape a draw. .....Nuff said. Come on you Irons. I'll be watching the game at a pub in Oslo. Having a beer or two as well. I am alone for the weekend. My daughter is in London and my lady is in Milan. I have to pretend that I am going to enjoy myself. A Hammers win will help. Tony. :)

This will be the first time we have visited TSOL in 6 years where I haven't gone to the match. On the five occasions I have been we have had 2 wins, 2 defeats and 1 draw.
As it is on Sky (and I am a lazy sod) I have decided to watch it round a mates house with a small crowd and some beers.
KYHS. Somehow the away shirt is a real Yossi style shirt. I have considered getting his name on the back of mine but it's the thought of handing it over to someone to stick in some fataly hot contraption and crossing my fingers that I see it again in one piece. We'll be taking out insurance on these shirts before long.
Anyway it's always a big day for me when we play SAFC. Their fans have a simple philosophy of the game. If they win they are great and if you win then you cheated and/or the ref cheated. End of. The fact that they played cr@p rarely enters the equation.
Here's hoping our endeavour to play attractive football overcomes their efforts to kick the cr@p out of us again.
:) UP THE 'AMMERS!!! :)
