Does anyone watch that top 24 teams on Eurosport?

I think both Lyon and Juve were top 4 on that.

EDIT:

Hmmmm. Lyon are top!

2 years. Big ********ing wow. Come back in 10 years and we'll see who has the better record.

I think the misunderstanding resides here. Historically in European football, we can say that Lyon is currently joining a club where Juve has been -and still is- a long time and honorable member. Now in the past few years, just like the new kids on the block, Lyon shall respect Juve but there's little they have to fear about on short term basis.

Voilą...I hope it helps.

I think that's about right.

What makes it even more accurate is the small difference in points between clubs.

On the pitch Juve do not piss on Lyon but off the pitch they do. I dont think he was talking about the current teams themselves he was talking about all the other factors that go into football. Juve are better at most positions on the pitch but Lyon can compete with them and beat them. Juve piss on them in wealth and prestige.

Wow this thread has been carried away. Comparing Juve to Lyon is a laugh, cmon. Nobody said Lyon hasn't been doing well. I think they are a great team and yes they have had a good two seasons in Europe but Juve are a historic club, along with Milan, Inter, Real, Barcelona, Liverpool, Man U, etc. Juve are definitely better than Lyon, on and off the pitch. Stadium attendence doesn't mean jack, neither does running a profit or net loss each season. As somebody already mentioned, the big giants all lose each year, you have to when you spent that much money. Where is Lyon stronger than Juve?

Keeper? NO
Defenders? NO
Midfield? NO
Strikers? NO
Bench? NO
Coach? NO
Stadium? YES

There you go....haha...you have a nice stadium and some champs league success and now you are better than Juve? WOW, just ludicrious!

Saying that Lyon has good chances of being one the teams able to compete with Juve and possibly beat them is not ludicrous at all. I hope Juve staff don't think like you do...

Another thing when comparing Lyon to Juve, look at the French stars on Juve! Would they be playing for Juve if Lyon was a power house themselves. I don't think so.

Don't you notice all the Italian, Spanish, and English superstars play within their own league (minus the odd exception). $$$$$$$$$$

Trezeguet
Thuram
Vieira

All on Juve, but why wouldn't they play for Lyon if they are at the same level!

Call me when Lyon sign Totti, Nesta, and Gilardino

Of course Lyon can compete and even beat Juve. Also Milan, Chelsea, Real, etc. They can beat all these teams, I never said they couldn't. Beating someone on any given day is possible, anyone within the Top 10-20 can beat eachother on any given day, but that doesn't mean you are all of sudden better.

If Juve and Lyon played 10 (home and away) games right now.

I bet you Juve beats them in 6 or 7 out of 10 series.
Now that is what I mean by being better!

I would open up a can of whoopass on this right now, but I'm not in the business of crushing 7th grade Canadians. Yeah you get the immediate rush, but you just feel empty afterwards.

7th grade Canadian? You don't have a clue who you are talking to you redneck hick! The only thing that will feel empty this year is Lyon's trophy case, after they are dumped out of the Champs League!
