No Frank, no Kelly, no Vasquez, Danny's doubtful (http://columbus.crew.mlsnet.com/MLS/news/team_news.jsp?ymd=20050926&content_id=43977&vkey=pr_coc&fext=.jsp&team=coc), we don't know about Buddle.
Would this be a good time to give Matt Jordan a game?

I doubt it. Isn't he out of contract at the end of the season anyway? So there's no reason to play him in order to shop him around. Better off playing Gaudette if we want to prepare for the future or leave Walker in there since he's been mentioned with Chivas for next season and maybe a shutout will increase his value.

We should play to win this match. I don't think that will be too hard so then we should sub in some younger players. After this weekend, if we're finally mathematically eliminated, we can start the backups to have a look at them in senior side competition. I assume that even if we wanted to, we couldn't play the non roster players who appear for us in reserve matches.

I can't understand why Chivas USA still sucks, despite having one of the most talented players in the league (Jaun Pablo Garcia) and a very good striker (Palencia) with them now. They really shouldn't be as easy to beat as they have been the past month.
This should be a fun game, both teams playing with three forwards and both teams having nothing to lose.
Anyone wanna guess how many Chivas fans show up? I say 1,000.

Have you seen their defense? That's why they are so easy to beat.

Most of their defenders are former Matadors- OLE!
Unless thay allow Picadors, we should score plenty.

so $15 gets the Firefighter's game and the Crew game. Can you just stay for the match inbetween as well?
sigh...my son just got of the hospital from an infection. he'll be 21 days old, so I don't know if can make it. spending the day with him and my daughter will probably help ease that grief though. :)

OK, we better win now. Chivas USA's only capable defender, Douglas Sequeira (or Donald Sequeira if you ask JP & Shep) is out on yellow card accumulation.
6-1 to Columbus. Anything less than 4 goals for us will disappoint me.

Perhaps a repeat 6-2 performance of the show for the closer two years ago against Chicago?

Cool. I love babies.
Congratulations, Dad. You don't know what you're in for. You'll get lots of advice, and some of it will be good no doubt, but listen to your heart and you'll do yourself proud.
What a journey.

My daughter is one and she has already shown a pretty good "W" grip on the mini skills ball I have at home. Go goalie girl! She does like watching it now. Sweet!

It would seem that I've stumbled upon 20 free tickets to this game. I'm going to try and get as many neighbors to go as I can, but there's no way in hell I'll use all 20. PM me if interested.
