The feeling around these board sometimes that I get makes me wonder which one of you pre 2001 guys stuck it in too deep in a few posters who come around here trolling once in while. Did you guys troll or brag your ass off or did you just set a misguided poster straight on the present playing quality of MLS who argued MLS was 7X tbetter han EPL and BUndesliga to a point of total hatred towards everything Mexican. YOu must guys have crapped in some one's eggflower soup or Chicken Noodle with Stars when they weren't looking or what:).

They hated Cobi Jones, but then all the sudden MArquez goes in as hard as he does for his club team and everybody's doing cartwheels and flips and throwing feces all over the place calling for MArquez's head ;) .

I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO go there but no need to look at 2001.
Just during and after wc02, all kind of shiiite hit the board from the dark side of the boards.
also pre and post game during wc quals, la guerra fria or something like that put the mods in the run and blood suckers were here by the zillions. the worse are out, some still alive (pero sera despues que les metemos el dedo a la boca pa q' dejen la pinche bulla)

Yeah I know real well what happened two seconds after that WC game, but did the chit talking back in 2000 reach similiar asswipe racist levels?

I can't remember that far back, but I know of few of the pre 2001 members of bigsoccer that you speak of would make some these Americans feel as if there team was crap. But it went both ways in a good way and they it got really ugly. But in reality USA suffers from racist attitudes and sometimes the ugliest of them pop here. One more thing you got to remember some of the best $hit talkers are Mexican fans.

It seems that Capellieri was some guy laid up in a hospital for a month with internet access. He got to what 3,000 posts in a month or something.

I had started a series of educational threads, "The Kings of Fluke", discussing how all USMNT success was due to fluke goals and made some very elaborate examples to prove my point. Also contributing to the haterade was the battle a few of the Mexie regulars had at the Metros, now known as Red Bulls NY, forum, the oldest forum in Big Soccer. All because of a f'ing Argie !!!
Info was leaked that TYC was cancelling their sponsership of the Merco Norte Cup, rendering it useless, so Ruggeri, then Chivas coach, decided that the tourney was no longer worth playing and claimed that his team feared flying into NY because of the 9/11 attacks. Thats statement set them off in anti Mexi bashing and we all joined the good fight.
