Right by Hyde Park. Any idea how long that trip to highbury is?

I will take plenty of pics, just got an extra card for the camera!

here's the agenda: pic of me on the can in the locker room, pic w/ DB10 jersey, pic under Cygan's jersey, blades of grass, and if possible, have my firstborn conceived in the stadium. Not sure how the last one is going to play out! ;)

which Tube stop?

if you are near Paddington Station there are a few good pubs on London St between Sussex Gardens and Praed St. The Sussex Arms is good (pound and a half pints of Tetleys and Carlsberg). The Dickens is on that street too, supposedly the longest pub in London. It just keeps going back. there is a good fish and chips shop next to the Sussex Arms as well as a kebob place.

There is a pub on the corner of Stratheren St and Sussex Pl (see map below) that is called the Victoria or something with Victoria or Victorian in it that has good food, kinda pricey though.

Anyway, have a great time and get pics (make sure to post a few). Also, make sure you visit Big Ben and Parliament!

Awesome. thanks for the suggestions. I think we are right by paddington station, so I will check those out.
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Bluto11 again.

no prob. I stayed at a hotel on Sussex Gardens and we spent every night getting pissed up at the Sussex Arms because the pints were cheap on our wallets. after drinking there we would go somewhere else where it was a little more livlier.

Yes, i plan on hitting up SoccerScene to get the new chelski kit. *ugh, perish the thought* I thinkt he most touristy thing I am going to see is the Globe theatre.
Is it a bad idea to wear an Arse jersey while I am just walking around London? is it inviting trouble? Last time I was there, I didn't have any with me.

When does the Globe theater close for the season? I know it was closed when I was in London a few years ago in mid October.

Really? I did not even think if that. I'll have to check. Nice, can you get me a ticket to Stamford Bridge? I hear there are always tickets available! ;)
Thanks for the heads up on the theatre.

no prob. its a nice area. there is a cool pub on Sussexx Gardens and Sale Place (its on that map). They have a nice outdoor area right in front that is off the street and surrounded by trees and such so its quieter. If you go to Edgeware Rd and around that Tube Stop there are alot of middle eastern places to eat.

I also know of a great Vegetarian Indian restaurant near piccadilly circus.

its on Panton St between Haymarket and Oxendon (but it might be on Orange St). Anyways, its called the Woodlands and its very good. There's a pub called the Tom Cribb right next door! I watched Senegal beat France in the WC at that pub.

i saw "A Midsummer's Night Dream" there. It was absolutly fantastic. slap stick comedy at its best. I had groundling tickets, which meant I stood in front.

I toured the grounds this past January. Cold, but one of my highlights (outside of footie memories of course) from the trip.

Or we could just find some nice Dutch lady-friends to shack with for free. :)
