In addition to the goalkeeper poll, let's also take this category apart. Best coach/manager/trainer or however you may call the guy who sets up the team :) Motivate your choice a bit as well please ;)

Chelsea had won nothing before Mourinho and now they're probably the most feared team in the world and they're making a mockery of the EPL because of him.

With all due respect to Chelsea, while they've certainly taken off since Mourinho signed on, the year before they got him Chelsea made it to the semifinals of the Champions League and Finished Third in the Premier League, so the groundwork was in place.

the groundwork was in place.
Yeah, but it took a guy like Mourinho to put it all together.

Yeah, but it took a guy like Mourinho to put it all together.I'd agree, if the players stayed the same. But they didn't. Chelski is second to none in player $ in the Prem.
I'm afraid that many of us would look good coaching that team.
In any case, Mouninho is still a top notch manager.

no real disrepect to Jose, but I have to go with Hiddink. No other coach has such an ability to get the most out of the talent he has on his team.
As for Mourinho, I actually consider his tenure with Porto to be MUCH MUCH more impressive than his time with Chelsea. It's really hard to see Chelsea performing much differently if Raineri was still in charge. Jose still couldnt get any farther into the CL, and that was with a squad with even ore talent than the one the year before. His antics against Barca were just assinine as well. He is certainly one of the top 5-10 in the world, but I just cant see him as the very best.

Yes, but what about Mourinho's two European titles with Porto?

noone has done more with less than Hiddink did in WC 2002. Also took PSV to the semis last season, and aside from DMB, that team is CRAP! ;)

Yeah, but it took a guy like Mourinho to put it all together.any idiot could have coached todays chelsea to the prem league title. and his/her assistant could coach chelseas second team to a top five finish for good measure. mourinho isnt doing anything worth talking about at chelsea. what he did with porto however, was impressive.
